About this role

Job Description

An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Technician at our Biotech site. You will work across the site supporting activities which could include execution of predictive, preventative, and reactive maintenance activities to ensure the site operations are safe and reliable. as required.

What you will do:

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:

  • Participate in project activities which could include design reviews, Factory / Site acceptance testing, installation, and commissioning support.
  • Ensure that equipment failures or issues are responded to promptly and appropriately in a cross functional environment.
  • Provide guidance and solutions for preventative action where required. Identifying activities and spare parts for planned activities including the development of procedures and training material Alarm monitoring, response, and resolution
  • Execute planned routines including predictive, preventative and calibration activities.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed in a compliant manner and asset management data is captured accurately.
  • Provide clear and concise written and verbal handovers to colleagues.
  • Support vendors when on site. Supporting development of training information. Assisting colleagues and other functions with tasks – i.e. set-up, sampling, cleaning validation activities. Work in cross functional teams where Operational Excellence techniques are used to optimise processes.
  • Ensure the site is always audit ready, and house-keeping standards are always adhered to.

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • Level 6 Electrical or equivalent electrical qualification.
  • Previous maintenance experience or a demonstratable interest in mechanical/electrical activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross functional collaborative environment.
  • A compliance mindset for Safety and Quality standards, regulation and practices.
  • High level of attention to detail in following procedures Strong problem-solving ability and adhere to scheduled timelines.
