The Data technology team within MSCI is responsible for providing data products to different product lines of MSCI. We are lookingforstrong technology professional with exceptional analytical skills to be part of a talented so􀀀ware development team in Mumbai. Theselectedcandidate will have a unique opportunity to design, build and maintain state of the art data management solutions for the world'sleadingprovider of investment decision support tools to investment community across the globe.

Your Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a bright and dynamic engineer, motivated and able to work independently as well as work in partnership with ITandBusiness teams spread across the globe. The candidate needs to be an exceptionally strong Python programmer.Besides technical skills, we are looking for a candidate with a strong sense of ownership and with ability to work in a diverse team.Your skills and experience that will help you excel

6+ year of experienceProficiency in Python programming.

Experience with Cloud (Azure /AWS) technologies

Experience with Data manipulation and analysis librariesExperience with modern NLP & LLM frameworks

Understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning LLMs, and evaluating model performance

Ability to work with unstructured text datasets (regulatory filings, annual reports, news, websites)

Code versioning and collaboration.Libraries for extracting data from websites.Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
