Your Purpose

The Leaning & Development Officer is responsible for identifying training needs within the organization, implementing learning strategies, designing, developing training/learning programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.

Your Impact

  • Conduct training needs assessment in consultations with managers.
  • Develop training materials, presentations, workshops, workbooks, eLearning modules and assessment to support learning objectives.
  • Facilitate training sessions, presentations and workshops utilizing effective adult learning principles.
  • Conduct skills gap analysis to identify areas for development across the organization
  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of training programs to measure the impact on employee performance
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees through career development
  • Implement different learning styles
  • Assists with any additional department tasks as determined by the Human Resources Manager.

Your Journey so far

  • Minimum Associates Degree in Human Resources or Business is required
  • Certification in Training & Human Resources
  • Fluent English (oral and written skills)
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs online and in person
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to evaluate data and analyze training effectiveness
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer applications required (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Performs other job-related functions as assigned
