Your Purpose
The Leaning & Development Officer is responsible for identifying training needs within the organization, implementing learning strategies, designing, developing training/learning programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
Your Impact
- Conduct training needs assessment in consultations with managers.
- Develop training materials, presentations, workshops, workbooks, eLearning modules and assessment to support learning objectives.
- Facilitate training sessions, presentations and workshops utilizing effective adult learning principles.
- Conduct skills gap analysis to identify areas for development across the organization
- Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of training programs to measure the impact on employee performance
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees through career development
- Implement different learning styles
- Assists with any additional department tasks as determined by the Human Resources Manager.
Your Journey so far
- Minimum Associates Degree in Human Resources or Business is required
- Certification in Training & Human Resources
- Fluent English (oral and written skills)
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs online and in person
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to evaluate data and analyze training effectiveness
- Working knowledge of relevant computer applications required (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Performs other job-related functions as assigned
