Your Purpose
This newly created position manages and supports the finance and administrative operations of the Medical, Public Health and Food Safety Department
Your Impact
- Works with the CMO and relevant stakeholders to create and manage annual expenditure and revenue budgets and align financial decisions with organisational goals
- Forecasts financial needs and allocate resources accordingly
- Monitors financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensures compliance with company financial rules and all jurisdictional financial regulations
- Prepares and presents financial reports to senior management and stakeholders as required
- Oversees internal and external financial audits
- Collaborates with the health informatics manager to analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develops systems to track and oversee billing processes, reimbursement procedures, and patient financial services
- Collaborates with the CMO to manage relationships and negotiate contracts with all relevant providers to the Medical, Public Health and Food Safety Department
- Implements cost-efficiency strategies and operational improvements
- Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures
- Stay updated with advancements in healthcare finance and implement new strategies.
Your Journey so far
- Strong background in healthcare finance, administration and business operations
- In-depth knowledge of financial laws and regulations in the healthcare industry
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic planning skills
- Proficiency in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office including Excel
- Experience using other finance and health electronic record related platforms an advantage
- Knowledge and practical application of digital data platforms such as Power BI is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of or exposure to maritime medicine, public health and the cruise industry is a significant advantage.

- Degree level qualification in Finance and/or Accounting (or similar), Healthcare Administration or a related field
