Your Purpose

This newly created position manages and supports the finance and administrative operations of the Medical, Public Health and Food Safety Department

Your Impact

  • Works with the CMO and relevant stakeholders to create and manage annual expenditure and revenue budgets and align financial decisions with organisational goals
  • Forecasts financial needs and allocate resources accordingly
  • Monitors financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Ensures compliance with company financial rules and all jurisdictional financial regulations
  • Prepares and presents financial reports to senior management and stakeholders as required
  • Oversees internal and external financial audits
  • Collaborates with the health informatics manager to analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develops systems to track and oversee billing processes, reimbursement procedures, and patient financial services
  • Collaborates with the CMO to manage relationships and negotiate contracts with all relevant providers to the Medical, Public Health and Food Safety Department
  • Implements cost-efficiency strategies and operational improvements
  • Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures
  • Stay updated with advancements in healthcare finance and implement new strategies.

Your Journey so far

  • Strong background in healthcare finance, administration and business operations
  • In-depth knowledge of financial laws and regulations in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic planning skills
  • Proficiency in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Experience using other finance and health electronic record related platforms an advantage
  • Knowledge and practical application of digital data platforms such as Power BI is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of or exposure to maritime medicine, public health and the cruise industry is a significant advantage.

Your Essentials

  • Full Right to Work in the UK
  • Degree level qualification in Finance and/or Accounting (or similar), Healthcare Administration or a related field
