Your Purpose

Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group’s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (four currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers.

An exciting opportunity exists for a talented CRM Marketing Professional to join our newly created luxury travel brand Explora Journeys and to support in the continuous development and delivery of the consumer website that represents a key touchpoint for our audience. This role is based in the office out of our Headquarters in Geneva.

Your Impact

  • Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of Marketing Cloud, including monitoring Master automations, troubleshooting errors, and updating or requesting updates (e.g., adding new fields).
  • Synchronize new fields and objects from Salesforce into Marketing Cloud as required, finding different ways to acquire needed data (eg automatic imports of context data). Manage automated and triggered campaigns end-to-end:
    • concept development based on business needs
    • conducting data analysis
    • working with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and monitoring the project implementation, ensuring campaign needs are covered
    • coordinating copy and translations
    • building dynamic AMPscript templates and journeys
    • through to user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Maintain and update existing automated and triggered campaigns as business requirements evolve.
  • Monitor automated journeys and single sends, escalating issues to Salesforce Support when necessary.
  • Support CRM projects, such as introducing new channels, improving conversion, updating marketing consent, or improving data flow processes. Work with teams like Digital, IT, Sales, and others to make sure projects are completed successfully.
  • Deliver monthly reporting on database evolution, key email performance metrics, website session and ad-hoc.
  • Managing operation communications (port changes, journey cancellations etc): assess impacted contacts, define and adapt copy, create templates, create audiences and manage send with the level of urgency.
  • Supporting projects related to MC functionalities (eg IP Warm Up, introducing SMS as a channel).
  • Supporting LeadGen Campaigns in MC: coordination with SF CRM, defining customer journey, coordinating copy and translations, preparing template, building campaign trigger + further touchpoints.

Your Journey so far

  • You have minimum of 4-6 years of professional international experience in CRM environment. Experience in the travel/hospitality industry is a plus;
  • Confident user of CRM systems, preferably with Salesforce;
  • Familiarity with SQL;
  • Experience in the creation and automation of customer journeys in CRM Platforms (Salesforce)

  • Fluency in English – additional languages would be a plus;
  • Detailed oriented;
  • Team-player with great collaboration skills;
  • Familiar with the most popular project management software (JIRA, Confluence).
