As a Social Media & Communications Assistant, your purpose is to support the development and delivery of clear, engaging, and impactful communications across our digital and internal channels. You play a key role in strengthening our online presence, especially on LinkedIn, fostering an active and engaged community, and ensuring our messages are consistent, relevant, and aligned with our brand and business objectives.
Social Media & Community Management
• Support content planning and scheduling for our LinkedIn presence.
• Create and adapt content: writing copy, preparing visuals, and assisting with photo and video shoots.
• Engage with our LinkedIn community.
• Track social media trends and propose ideas to increase engagement and visibility.
• Assist with automated reporting and performance tracking.
• Support data analysis to extract insights and identify opportunities for improvement.
Communications
• Support crisis communication initiatives.
• Help with media monitoring and summarising key stories for internal stakeholders.
• Support the creation of high-quality presentations for senior executives, leadership meetings, and high-profile internal or external events.
• Assist in adapting content and messaging for different audiences, ensuring clarity, consistency, and visual effectiveness.
• Support the analysis of data from internal and external communication channels, including intranet usage and content performance.
Team & Administrative
• Keep files, content libraries, and communication tools organised and up to date.
• Support the team with event logistics and presentations.
• Creative and curious, full of ideas and eager to try new things.
• Organised and thorough, able to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Outgoing and sociable, happy to work collaboratively with different teams.
• A strong communicator with excellent writing skills in English.
• Familiar with basic design and presentation tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint) or videoediting tools - a plus but not required.
