About The Position:


Mountainside Treatment Center is seeking a Dishwasher/Kitchen Staff to work in harmony with all members of the food service team while maintaining and assisting in various aspects of the kitchen. As a member of the food services team, the Kitchen Staff’s duties include various kitchen maintenance, as well as keeping the dining / kitchen clean and organized.


Schedule:

Full-Time (40 hours/week). Must have availability to work the following shifts: 7:00am - 3:30pm, 9:00am - 5:30pm, or 11:00am - 7:30pm


Your Role:

  • Performing kitchen maintenance: emptying the trash, sweeping and mopping floors and washing dishes
  • Clear plates and run commercial dishwasher, return dishes to correct locations
  • Clear and set dining room
  • Food preparation, chopping vegetables, making salads and putting together entrees as needed
  • Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager at any time
  • To assist and share in other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or their representative

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays
  • Professional communication skills required
  • To be teachable as well as flexible to day to day needs/demands of the kitchen
  • Some kitchen experience helpful, but not required

Compensation:


The base salary for the position is $18.50 to $19.50 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
