Duties & Responsibilities:
Runs the day-to-day operations of the ski & snowboard school
Primarily responsible for children’s ski and snowboard lessons, assisting with other programs as needed
Hire, train, and coach instructors
Scheduling and time sheets
Coordinate with other departments to create a seamless experience with lessons and programs
Reporting and tracking of ski school performance
Provides exceptional guest service through the efficient organization of instructors and support staff
Resolves guest and employee issues as needed with professionalism
Properly utilizes department tools and software for the structure and organization of lessons
Responsible for coaching, measurement, and recognition of employee performance - including seasonal performance reviews
Mentors and assists in the development and training of future leaders
QualificationsQualifications:
3+ years working in snow sports school, preferably with leadership experience
Ability to positively influence and support others
High levels of emotional intelligence
Superior communication skills
Demonstrates ability to provide great guest service
Strong understanding of school operations and the guest experience.
Exceptional organizational skills
Additional Certifications (not mandatory):
PSIA/AASI Instructor certifications
PSIA Children’s Specialist Certification
