About this role

POSITION SUMMARY

The Provider Sourcing Specialist sources, screens, and refers quality candidates through various databases. This role is responsible for recruiting both passive and active candidates to fulfill provider needs, communicating and developing strong relationships with Recruiters and leadership, and attending national and local recruitment events to build the candidate pipeline for Mount Nittany Health.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


Education:

1.     Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience is required.

2.     Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience:

1.     Two years of Provider sourcing experience required

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

1.     Demonstrated sourcing and lead generation skills.

2.     Demonstrated ability to work under stressful situations.

3.     Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.

4.     Effectively functions as a liaison among recruiters, physicians and administration.  

5.     Uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment, and a professional attitude constantly.  

6.     Consistently demonstrates maturity for accountability of job performance.

7.     Conducts business in a professional and cordial manner that upholds the integrity and reputation of Mount Nittany Health.

8.     Knowledge of human resource laws and regulations as they relate to the management of staff.

License/Certification/Registration:

None

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Receives minimal supervision from the Director, Talent Acquisition and Compensation and indirect supervision form Provider recruiters.
