Material Handler

Responsibilities:
- Process and move production materials into/out of storage, production areas, and other locations following standard work instructions.
- Monitor work-in-process (WIP) to ensure production schedules are met.
- Update automated inventory systems and perform manual reporting to track material availability.
- Identify and resolve minor issues or discrepancies with parts and materials using established procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize and expedite production activities, preventing schedule delays.
- Assist team members to ensure smooth material flow and task completion.
- Operate a forklift and perform regular physical tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs, standing/walking, and using stairs.
- Adhere strictly to safety and quality protocols.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED; additional vocational/technical training a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with inventory control, materials handling, or warehouse operations.
- Forklift certified or ability to become certified.
- Basic computer skills for tracking and reporting inventory data.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs, stand/walk throughout the day, and navigate stairs as needed.

What you'll do
- The Production/Inventory Coordinator is responsible for processing and moving production materials, monitoring work-in-process, and updating inventory systems. They will also coordinate with teams to expedite production activities and assist in material flow.
