What will be your main responsibilities?

The Manager, Social Projects leads the Instituto Mosaic in Brazil and the execution of strategies and partnerships in alignment with The Mosaic Company Foundation for Sustainable Food Systems, which are aimed at improving sustainable agricultural systems, strengthening communities, and reinforcing Mosaic’s brand as a good corporate steward. This includes the implementation of projects and tracking of metrics to monitor their success; oversight of vendors and technical partners; coordination with local leaders, global stakeholders and other community organizations and agencies; and collaborating in cross-sector areas to advance corporate social responsibility. The position manages a programmatic and administrative budget of approximately $1.5 million, with opportunities to expand in line with the global corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy. The Manager, Social Projects is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of organizational management activities, including budgeting and expense management, grant management and reporting, financial and legal obligations, and preparations for the Institute’s quarterly board meetings.

The Manager, Social Projects represents the global CSR team in Brazil, maintaining relationships with internal and external parties and collaborating with the global sustainability team on reporting, stakeholder engagement and project-related activities in pursuit of the global strategy. Social Program Implementation and Assessment - Oversee the implementation of social projects in non-operating communities. Partner with internal teams, external organizations, and community members to ensure successful delivery. Apply quantitative and qualitative metrics to monitor progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

Mobilization and Engagement – Advocate for the interests of the Institute, Foundation, and CSR within the company. Create opportunities for internal stakeholders to strengthen relationships and enhance public goodwill.

Public Relations – Engage local communities, industry associations, NGOs, and other stakeholders to build support for the Institute’s activities and priorities.

Organizational Management – Ensure the efficient functioning of Instituto Mosaic, including cost-effective use of resources, timely and accurate reporting and maintenance of all legal and financial obligations, and preparations for quarterly Institute board of directors’ meetings.
