Summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a skilled and driven Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our premier Ortho-Neuro Hospitalist team in St. Joseph, Missouri. As an integral part of this multidisciplinary team, you will enjoy a high degree of autonomy while working at the top of your license to manage complex musculoskeletal and neurological cases. At Mosaic, we empower our APPs to be leaders in the clinical setting, providing the resources and professional support necessary to deliver world-class care right in the heart of our community.

NP Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an APRN master’s nursing degree
  • Current Missouri license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure

Additional Qualifications:

  • Possess ability to work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals
  • Have extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments with the ability to develop appropriate plan of care, modifying as indicated
  • Possess effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and members of the health care team
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a CNS or APRN master’s degree in a nursing program in the specialty area or must demonstrate successful completion of a formal post-graduate track or accredited program (within the specialty area) within a school of nursing granted graduate-level academic credit (e.g. graduate, non-matriculating program)
  • Licensed in state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location. Must be currently certified by a nationally recognized certifying body acceptable to the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing as well as hold and maintain a current Document of Recognition
