MORSE boasts a specially selected team of scientists, engineers, and software developers to deliver best-in-class technical solutions that solve difficult multidisciplinary problems faced by the US National Security Ecosystem.</span> <span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></p></div><p>MORSE is looking for <strong>Security Compliance Co-op</strong> to test systems for compliance with established cyber security standards (i.e. NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53), design cyber/physical security procedures, assist in maintaining the facility’s physical security controls, and help with employee personnel security (i.e. sending classified visit requests).</p>
<p>Candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter with an interest in DoD Cyber or Physical Security. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a collaborative, high-energy environment with a small team where they can contribute meaningfully to quick turnaround projects.</p>
<h3>RESPONSIBILITIES:</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Create procedures to address required security controls in areas such as configuration management, identity and authentication, and incident response.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Assist with system auditing, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Analyze selected security controls to determine organizational and system compliance.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Submit classified visit and clearance requests.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize security and compliance.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h3>REQUIREMENTS:</h3>
<ul>
<li>US citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance is are required.</li>
<li>
<p>Working towards a BS or BA degree in Cyber Security, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related subject.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to create clear and concise technical documents.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Understanding of common IT architectures and operating systems.</p>
</li>
