Responsibilities
As a Service Plumber, you’ll:
- Perform diagnostic repair service calls. When someone’s plumbing is wreaking havoc, you’ll swoop in to save the day!
- Address customer concerns. You’ll make friends. And you’ll get paid for it. Sometimes, people get a bit stressed when their plumbing is acting up, but you know just the words to say to put them at ease! You’ll make sure they’re happy and confident in you and in Morris-Jenkins.
- Hand off larger repairs to plumbing installers. You can focus on the things you do best and leave the big, time-consuming installs (water heater replacements, re-pipes, etc.) to the plumbing installation team. That way, you can move on to your next call, where you can let your strengths shine!

The Super-Fun HR Stuff
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, filtration, gas lines, gas logs, and drain cleaning
- Prior leadership experience
- Valid North Carolina Plumbing Contractor or Journeyman License
- Valid South Carolina LLR Plumbing Contractor License
- Valid South Carolina MASC Master Plumber Certification
- Experience in Residential Plumbing, particularly with drain, sewer, water & gas line installation and retrofit
- Experience with service of tank-less water heaters and water filtration systems
- Knowledge of drain machines, camera & locator equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Plumbing Contractor (P1 or P2)
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman license
- Valid South Carolina LLR Plumbing Contractor License
- Valid South Carolina MASC Master Plumber Certification
