Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our Enterprise Technology team as a Python Full stack Developer, in Enterprise Computing (EC) in EC CIS Automation Team. The group is a ring-fenced team with SRE focus who provides Strategic support to Critical Infrastructure Oxygen systems and EC lifecycle & Hygiene. And as a developer, your aim is to provide automated solutions to maximize the availability & stability of the infrastructure it manages.

This is Director position that maintains the stability and reliability of the organization's infrastructure systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability to support business operations.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Python-based applications and services.    
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Build, enhance & maintain dashboards that monitor the critical Infra systems for improved resiliency.
• Collaboration and Communication.
• Work with Infrastructure SME to translate business value propositions into meaningful requirements. Communicate concepts & demonstrate solutions to technical & non-technical stakeholders Testing and Debugging.   
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.    
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
• Should be comfortable reviewing code written by others & provide constructive feedback Integration, Automation &  Continuous Improvement:  
• Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to improve efficiency  
• Integrate the solutions with the firm approved deployment strategies  
• Stay up to date with modern tech strategies & implement improvement in existing processes.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• At least 6+ years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
• Professional with hands-on development experience in Python (Strongly preferred)/ related programming languages.
• Basic Understanding of data structures, OOPs and ability to deal with large datasets.
• 2+ years of experience in React/Angular/ any other UI development skills.
• Comfortable working in Linux CLI environment and familiar with Git, REST APIs, SDLC, CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Knowledge on Ansible & Observability stack like Grafana, Prometheus etc is a plus.
• Familiar with Agile working practices & DevOps- Good problem solving & communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability of deliverables.
• Know-how on leveraging AI tools like copilot to boost productivity.
