About this role
Morgan Properties is seeking a college student to intern with our Accounts Receivable department for the Summer of 2026. Our AR Intern will gain experience in a fast-paced environment supporting the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, month-end tasks, and special projects with a variety of day-to-day responsibilities.
This is a paid internship starting on May 18th and ending August 7th. This position is based out of our office in Victor, NY with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. The in-office days are Monday-Thursday, with Friday being the option to work remotely.
What you will be doing:
- Assist in entering resident and miscellaneous cash receipts
- Assist with sorting daily mail for AR Team
- Assist with Resident Move-Out Deposit Accounting Statement reviews
- Support Due Diligence Lease Audit reviews if/when applicable
- Support in performing Resident Move-In Lease Audits
- Complete ad hoc projects for the AR/Accounting team as needed.
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited University or College.
- Academic standing as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior.
- Process toward bachelor’s or associate's degree in accounting, finance or business management/administration required.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiency (emphasizing Excel).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and motivated.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a diverse group of talented individuals.

Salary range: $18- $21
If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
