The Technical Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Materials engineers high performance functional and structural ceramic materials, components and sub-assemblies to address customer-specific technical challenges.

Morgan Advanced Materials, located in Wilkes-Barre, PA is actively hiring Production Associates on our Second Shift.   If you enjoy working in a diverse, supportive and safe workplace with focus on safety and quality, please apply to join our team today.  Our Production Associates receive extensive on the job training to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Manufacture, pack and inspect ceramic cores
  • Operate production machines and equipment while adhering to standard operating procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and daily accountability meetings
  • Cross training in various operational areas

Qualifications

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand and communicate in written and verbal English.
  • Ability to reliably work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (lift assist available as required).
  • Visual acuity.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Previous manufacturing/production experience preferred.
  • Satisfactory pre-employment screenings (includes background check and drug and alcohol screening).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (lift assist available as required).
  • Must be a:
    • Citizen of the United States, or
    • Permanent resident alien of the United States, or
    • Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
