Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc. is seeking certified welders in Waco, TX.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • The welder lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs and maintenance of piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water fixtures and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling and industrial production and processing systems.
  • Must read and understand plans and specifications, including diagrams, prints, orthographic and isometric drawings.  Visualize two dimensional drawings in three dimensions.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience welding.
  • Must have Welding Certification.

Physical Demands

  • Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.
  • Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
  • Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
  • Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
  • Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
  • The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
  • Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.
