Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc. is seeking a QC Welding Inspector for a project in Temple, TX.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Must have equivalent experience level of a journeyman in the particular craftwork being inspected.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in quality control work relating to industrial construction and/or modification activities.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of the codes, nondestructive examination, and testing methods associated with the craft work being inspected

Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office
  • Inspector certification(s) required
  • Reading blueprints and plans required
  • Interpersonal skills such as oral, verbal and written communication and reasoning is required.
  • CWI Certification

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
  • May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
  • Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas
  • Must have full range of motion consistent with age
  • Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
  • Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
  • Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
  • Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
