We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Catastrophe Response Project Manager to join our national disaster response team. This role requires rapid deployment across the U.S. and strong leadership under pressure to deliver critical restoration services when and where they’re needed most.

What You’ll Do
As a Catastrophe Response Project Manager, you will serve as a front-line leader in disaster situations, coordinating large-loss projects from mobilization through recovery. This is a highly responsive, travel-intensive position that demands strategic thinking, operational oversight, and a deep understanding of restoration and construction best practices.




  • Be available 24/7/365 to deploy immediately to disaster sites across the U.S.

  • Maintain readiness of CAT trailers, equipment, and materials for rapid mobilization

  • Support local offices or special assignments as directed by leadership

  • Conduct on-site walk-throughs with clients, adjusters, and consultants

  • Assist in writing and developing scopes of work and projected cost estimates

  • Obtain authorization signatures and provide a detailed scope within 48 hours of project initiation

  • Identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with permit and regulatory requirements

  • Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment for deployment under strict timelines

  • Assign appropriate labor classifications per Mooring’s Time & Material Rate Schedule

  • Represent Mooring with professionalism and integrity at every stage of the project



Qualifications




Required:




  • Degree in Business, Construction Management, or equivalent field experience

  • Extensive experience in mitigation, restoration, and construction practices

  • Proficiency with estimating, administrative, and accounting software

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification

  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally with minimal notice



Preferred:




  • IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, etc.)

  • Strong working knowledge of all Mooring service offerings

  • Previous experience in catastrophe response and large-loss project management
