Our team in SDG Actuation and Avionics is looking for a Product Engineering Technician to join them.

To be considered for Product Engineering Technician, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Moog test equipment, including actuator assembly and test equipment.
  • Associate’s degree in engineering related field, preferred bachelor’s degree in engineering related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu of experience, we will consider an accredited technical degree with additional relevant experience.
  • Understanding of Moog systems, including Teamcenter, iWI-N, TipQA

As a Product Engineering Technician, you will:

  • Author/preparation of production Assembly/Test documentation including worksheets, acceptance test procedures, etc.  Authoring will be using iWI-N.
  • Provide general technical support/ troubleshooting for iWI-N application.
  • Plan and perform Engineering tests and Engineering inspections/evaluations of hardware.
  • Use technical understanding of electromechanical and hydraulic actuator components to the degree required to support lead engineer with diagnosing performance failures.
  • Data preparation, analysis, and evaluation of trends.
  • Assist technicians in methods of Assembly and Test, use of equipment and instrumentation, and diagnosis and rework of anomalies/failures.
  • Author changes in Teamcenter
  • Institute continuous improvements across product families.
  • Maintain technical liaison with responsible Project/Product Engineers, supporting project team meetings.
  • Provide support to Assembly/Test operations in coordination with the lead Project/Product Engineer.
  • Support development and qualifications efforts when needed.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $30.00–$38.00 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
