$92,800.00-$116,000.00Clinical and Administrative Management and Supervision of counselors. Facilitate integration of clinical services with the overall administration and management of the clinic.
Essential Duties:
• Supervision of counseling staff regarding their clinical work with patients
• Conduct intakes for new patients
• Orient and train counseling staff regarding all aspects of the program and the role of the substance use counselor
• Review and supervision of counselors’ administrative responsibilities
• Complete scheduled evaluations of all supervised staff as well as initiate disciplinary process when indicated
• Monitoring staff compliance with hospital and program policies and procedures
• Initiate staff compliance with hospital and program policies and procedures
• Acting site director in absence of site director
• Unit staff scheduling on an ongoing basis and monitoring compliance
• Manage conflict resolution of staff and patients
• Organize and chair regularly scheduled IDC meetings and morning report to facilitate interdisciplinary communication
• Oversee counselor follow-up on IDC recommendations
• Participate in interviewing, hiring and orienting new staff
• Maintain and supervise reporting systems to upper management
• Facilitate temporary medication for patients referred from other programs
• Primary Back up to alternate team clinical supervisor in leading IDC’s
• Facilitate implementation of CQI program with counseling staff including timely reporting of CQI indicators to CQI Committee
Qualifications:
• LMSW or LCSW, Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Clinical Psychology or other clinical field required
• A minimum of at least 3 years of experience in the treatment of substance use required
• Training in assessment and treatment of substance use disorders required
• Must possess strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Supervisory or administrative experience is preferred
