About this role

Description

 

Responsible for maintaining the aesthetics and functionality of the community to a high standard, ensuring all areas of the park are in compliance with company, state, federal, and insurance policy regulations. Must maintain the park with deep care and model the organizational purpose, values, and standards consistently. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Perform property general maintenance and repairs. 
  • Properly and safely apply chemicals used in groundskeeping by wearing appropriate PPE and following either written or verbal directions for the mixing, application, storage and disposal of chemical products. 
  • Safely operate riding mowers, portable power tools, and equipment by wearing PPE, obeying applicable traffic laws, and following operator instructions. 
  • Regularly inspect all grounds for debris, leaves, and trash and transport the trash to designated central collection points daily. 
  • Ensure that all grounds and building maintenance equipment are operational by performing routine and preventative maintenance within reasonable capabilities.  
  • Maintain neat and organized condition of maintenance room.  
  • Perform seasonal yard work as needed.  
  • Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. 
  • Read meters to collect utility usage information in coordination with the Community Leader.  
  • Regularly engage with residents and maintain positive relationships with team, residents, and vendors. 
  • Be available to take emergency calls outside of pre-established office hours and assist in coordinating solutions. 
  • Safely perform physical duties outdoors for extended periods of time during all four seasons. 
  • Clean homes and rv spaces to prepare for sale.  
  • Clean community amenity areas.  
  • Assist with loading or unloading trucks and moving furniture. 
  • Schedule specialty services.  
  • Follow all safety & emergency procedures. 
  • Communicate any problems promptly and clearly to management and make recommendations to Development Leader towards solutions.  
  • Carry out all responsibilities in compliance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal, and local laws.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE  

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • 1+ years of maintenance experience. 

 

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay rate: $18/hr-$22/hr DOE
