Responsibilities

To provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling; information and referral; referrals for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families with problems that are related to hospitalization, illness, disability, or trauma. To provide case management & milieu management, data collection regarding psychosocial aspects related to the patient’s care, , assist in the re-evaluation of Treatment Plans and work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and to coordinate discharge planning. Complete necessary documentation and maintain clinical record for each client during his/her length of stay.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other related field OR
  • Master’s in Psychology
  • Current registration as an intern with a Board, as appropriate to education and licensing requirements.
  •  

    Preferred Qualifications:

     

  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Master’s in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or related field.
  • Minimum one (1) year Inpatient l or Outpatient Behavioral Health experience.

    Montclair Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.00 to $34.37. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
