As a key member of the site Quality team, the Quality Systems & Audit Coordinator is responsible for governing the site’s Quality Management System (QMS), audit programs, and corrective action processes. This role ensures compliance systems are structured, effective, and audit-ready at all times, supporting regulatory, certification, and internal requirements.
This role emphasizes strong system ownership, audit discipline, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance is sustained and continuously improved.
How you will contribute
• Govern the site Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and certification expectations.
• Own document control and record management processes, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and audit readiness of quality documentation.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the internal audit program, including scheduling, auditor readiness, reporting, and follow-up.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and external audits (FDA, corporate, customer, certification bodies), supporting preparation, execution, and response activities.
• Govern the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) process, ensuring timely, effective, and sustainable closure of audit findings and non-conformances.
• Maintain oversight of compliance-related programs, excluding GMP execution, to ensure systems are documented, verified, and sustained.
• Support management review processes by preparing compliance metrics, audit results, trends, and system health summaries.
• Partner with Food Safety Coordinators to ensure food safety programs are properly documented, verified, and audit-ready.
• Partner with the Sanitation & GMP Transformation Leader to ensure GMP findings flow through the CAPA and audit systems appropriately.
• Identify systemic compliance gaps and escalate risks to the Senior Compliance Manager with clear data and recommendations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by strengthening system discipline, standardization, and follow-through.

More about this role
Education / Certifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
Job specific requirements:
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in quality systems, compliance, or audit-related roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections and third-party certification audits.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems, CAPA, document control, and audit processes.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
