You help implement the operational excellence program in a specific function and/or for cross-functional continuous improvement (CI) projects. You are not only responsible for applying CI tools and techniques for problem solving and performance improvement but more importantly, you help employees improve their CI skills and build their self-sufficiency.
How you will contribute
You will lead the implementation of EDI messages with customers and providers for Order-to-Cash (OTC), also covering Legal/tax requirements and Archiving, and support e-invoicing initiatives for MEU:
Report to Manager Continuous Improvement Process & Technology
In-depth expertise in EDI technology, comprehensive understanding of SAP integration methodologies, including SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Integration, BAPIs, IDocs, ALE.
Cross-Functional Team Coordination: Coordinate between multiple teams working on different integration technologies (e.g., PI/PO/ Integration Suite, MuleSoft, B2B, Talend, etc.) to ensure that all integrations are developed and tested in a cohesive manner.
Capture requirements for EDI to customers and related tax/Legal requirements
Project Management for EDI projects (approx. 40 initiatives/year), working with customers, stakeholders in countries, van providers, MDS, also x-functionally with Finance, Sales, LOG-OPS.
Simplification, standardization and CI developments: Identify process gaps, evaluate harmonization and improvement opportunities, and co-ordinate feedback to the regional team. Provide information and explanations to help explain any deviations. Develop business cases for process standardisation and improvements across MEU and escalate critical issues that may require specific regional support to solve.
Decision Documentation: provide documentations with detailed information, explanations and recommendations for EDI topic and MEU EDI process changes
Work closely with the MDS-community to ensure correct developments transition and implementation for EDI projects
Status Reporting: Provide status reporting for your area including regular updates on progress against project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues through the lifecycle of the project.
Change Management & Adoption: Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes across BU’s/ CU’s, support training, upskilling, and capability development using clear and timely communication.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the bridge between BU / CU OTC teams to ensure business requirements for your area are understood and available
Vendor management with EDI providers to ensure that they are correctly linked to the EDI-project
Testing & Validation: Work with local key users to define and implement testing and validation approaches for all OTC EDI and interfaces, process changes and other technical issues, at a BU / CU level as applicable.
BCP (business continuity plan): Develop and maintain BU / CU BCP for EDI OTC core processes/interfaces to mitigate risks during implementation of S4 and beyond
Cutover: Work closely with central teams and local BU /CU teams on planning and executing cutovers ensuring business teams fully aware of all requirements and implications.
Risk Management: Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies (e.g. with other functional areas) and critical path deliverables
Align with global, regional and local project teams in all project phases.
What you will bring

Experience in project management within SAP, EDI and NSA environments.
Ability to work cross-functionally with market stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (local, regional). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across business and technical functions.
Background in business processes, gap analysis, and harmonization initiatives, ideally in Order-to-Cash.
Experience in supporting change and delivering training and business adoption initiatives.
Result-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to deal with multiple priorities in a fast-paced, and dynamic environment.

Education / Certifications:
Honours degree level qualifications or equivalent workplace experience required.
Job specific requirements:
5+ years of operational and business experience working in EDI-/interface-developments and multi systems environment.
Experience in large projects, as expert and for project management
Detailed knowledge of the MDLZ EDI messages and interface, incl. e-invoicing
Travel requirements
Very occasional travel is expected for ad hoc regional team meetings, but majority of work will be through business communication platforms (MS Team, SharePoint etc).
Work location and schedule:
Location is expected to remain with the successful candidate’s current BU / CU location.
Will need high level of contact and close working within OTC Center of Excellence based in several locations across MEU and country SMEs. Regular contact with MDS and Accenture teams also expected.
