Our Journey 

The Mental Health Intellectual Disability Initiative - Adults (MHIDI-A)/Stronger together team is part of the Casey Adult Mental Health program and is located in Thomas Street, Dandenong.  We provide consultation, multidisciplinary specialist assessment and treatment to people who have been diagnosed over the age of 16 years, with developmental-intellectual disability and a co-existing diagnosed mental health condition or suspected mental health condition (dual disability), many of whom will have complex presentations and challenging behaviours.  

We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Administration Officer to join us, working part-time ongoing, 0.6FTE.  

 

A Day in the Life:

  • The position of Administration Officer is situated at the MHIDI-A office and forms an integral part of ensuring that the program runs smoothly and efficiently to meet client’s needs and operational demands.
  • Provide a friendly, courteous and professional greeting and support to all stakeholders
  • The administrative officer is responsible for assisting in the day to day running of the administration area
  • This opportunity is a part-time ongoing role   
  • Provide clerical support to MHIDI-A team  

 

About You  

To perform this secondment successfully, the following capabilities are required:  

  • A personal work ethic of reliability, performance, integrity, balance and honesty 
  • To be a team player  
  • Excellent people and clinical skills   

What you need:  

  • Diploma of Administration 
  • Previous experience in similar role is required, preferably within a health care setting (desirable)
  • Ability to proficiently use the followings systems: CMI, EMRSMRiPMiPROC and various platforms i.e. Teams, TeleHealth.
