About this role

Join us as a Senior Product Manager (all genders) in our Service Configuration & Setup team (parental leave cover - 12 months) and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager with proven experience leading discovery and delivery in complex environments. In this role, you’ll orchestrate across multiple stakeholders — from internal cross-functional development teams to MOIA’s customer-facing teams and B2B/B2G customers.

About your team

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll be part of our Service Configuration & Setup team, which aims to empower MOIA to efficiently set-up new services in a scalable manner, and our B2B/B2G clients to successfully steer their mobility service after launch.

The team is responsible for key entities of the MOIA system, such as the Service Area, Service Hours and virtual Stop Network. It also designs and develops essential elements of powerful, data-driven self-service-steering tools in the MOIA Backoffice used by B2B/B2G customers, guiding the overarching service configuration strategy and collaborating with other teams to make mobility services steerable by clients.

With many dependencies, what your team does is essential for MOIA and its clients to safely and successfully run a mobility service. In the position of Senior Product Manager, you will be working at the forefront of increasing efficiency and scalability when it comes to setting up new services, and satisfaction of B2B/B2G customers by providing tooling that makes their lives easier – also indirectly affecting satisfaction of riders using a mobility service.

We are a cross-functional team of Backend and Frontend developers, designers and domain experts, passionately striving to improve our service quality. We live by the saying: “you build it, you run it”. We strive for calm nights and weekends without incidents by delivering software with the highest engineering quality. We value open communication, constructive discussions and prioritize collaboration and knowledge exchange within the team and across teams.

What you will do

  • Ensure B2B/B2G client satisfaction by supporting their daily work and decision-making with efficient and guiding tooling to steer their service – ranging from Service Area and Service Hours settings to the management of virtual Stops. This also includes enriching tooling with data and insights (e.g. dashboards) to guide our clients to success. For this, you will be collaborating with other teams in the business.

  • Enhance scalability of setting up a new B2B/B2G mobility service in the MOIA system by building impactful features for MOIA-internal client facing users.

  • Gain in-depth understanding of your users’ needs and translate feedback into meaningful insights that fuel your roadmap.

  • Use different insight sources (data, user research, prototyping) to identify potential with an impact towards our mission, strategy and measurable goals. Collaborate with the team’s designer and Technical Lead to drive continuous discovery and delivery.

  • Balance the needs of the user with those of the business and bring that business perspective to the team from discovery to delivery and impact evaluation. Actively guide the team towards a user- and impact-focused thinking and decision-making.

  • Prepare and prioritize new features such as epics and stories for plannings and weekly refinement meetings within the team.

  • Together with your team make a good choice for company-wide quarterly plannings, fed by strategic focus, user and business opportunities and technical investments, and then make your plans come true.

  • Join forces with the Technical Lead of the team to share technical and business critical responsibilities, which ensures you are building a stable & high-quality product and maintain a great team culture.

  • Create alignment within the team as well as with other teams to manage dependencies and timelines for cross-team functionalities.

  • Manage external partnerships with partners and internal relationships with stakeholders, e.g. Sales or B2B Support. Ensure that client-facing teams are aware of upcoming/ new features or improvements.

  • Represent the team within the Product Community, sharing your experience in building highly valuable products with your peers to elevate each other

What will help you to fulfill your role

  • You have a proven ability to transform complex user and stakeholder needs into a meaningful product roadmap, and you’ve repeatedly delivered impactful products in dynamic environments.

  • You are experienced with B2B/B2G product development and can confidently navigate requests from users/ customers and balance them with business impact and value, preferably within the tech industry.

  • Excellence: With your vast experience in Product Management, you master the skill to find the balance between business, stakeholder and user needs. You leverage data to make informed decisions and create a shared understanding to ensure your prioritization is aligned and understood by all relevant parties.

  • Visionary: You think big, craft compelling visions for your ideas and understand what makes your products commercially viable. You are excited about bringing business value and can bridge the gap between technical world and business world.

  • Pragmatist: You get things done, make sound decisions and resolve issues effectively. You enjoy getting involved and discussing complex challenges - and then you trust the team to take it from there to figure out architecture and implementation.

  • Validation & analyzing: You validate hypothesis fast and work in a lean way with your team. Making sense of quantitative data and applying the insights to build impactful products is what you love.

  • Excellent Communicator: People enjoy working with you because you communicate well and evoke optimism, even when you’re communicating complex information. You are experienced in adjusting your messaging to different stakeholders and inspire people by translating your expertise into clear and straightforward language. Plus, you are not afraid of asking a lot of questions to refine your understanding.

  • Ways of working and tooling: You're comfortable using tools like e.g. opportunity solution trees or KPI trees to structure thinking and guide focused decision-making — without letting the tool become the center of attention

  • Growth Mindset: You navigate organizational dynamics, market disruptions, and ambiguous situations with confidence, resilience and adaptability, using setbacks as opportunities for growth and innovation. You exhibit a deeper commitment to personal and professional growth, actively seeking opportunities to expand your impact, serving as role models for your team members.

  • Fluent communication in English is required, German is a plus.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds — even if you don’t meet every requirement. If you’re excited about the role and MOIA’s mission, we’d love to hear from you!
