The Human Resources Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering high-impact HR initiatives across MVHS. This role manages projects aligned to one or more HR functional areas—such as HRIS, Organizational Development, Labor & Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Leave Management—based on organizational priorities. Projects may vary over time. The Project Manager applies standard project management methodologies and data-driven analysis to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Working closely with HR leadership, IT, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners, this role improves HR operations, employee experience, and regulatory compliance through effective execution and actionable insights.

Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare (FSLH) and St. Elizabeth Medical Center (SEMC) affiliated as the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) effective March 2014. MVHS is governed by a single, 18-member board of directors, with nine members from FSLH’s board and nine from SEMC’s board. The system is operated by a single management team.
The MVHS serves the geographic area of Oneida, Herkimer and Madison counties and is an integrated delivery system with 4,200 full-time equivalent employees and a combined operating budget of $537 million.
