Job Description Summary:

Modernizing Medicine is seeking a Technical Consultant Level 2 who will be responsible for the technical implementation and delivery of our integrated Image Management products and services. This individual will perform application installations and configuration for clients from kickoff through go-live. The incumbent will coordinate activities pursuant to the project timeline to ensure consistently successful deliveries. This role will work collaboratively with other teams, such as Sales, Implementation, Training, Product, and Operations.

The Role:

  • Responsible for the technical implementation and delivery of our integrated Image Management product
  • Coordinate with client teams to manage decisions and processes during the implementation period
  • Schedule technical calls with clients and validate that all requirements are met for a given project/timeline
  • Provide technical guidance, direction, and expertise where needed
  • Perform application installations and configurations for client technical implementations/Imaging devices
  • Coordinate activities with team members and set deadlines
  • Create and maintain technical documents as new products are released
  • Create and improve protocols as technology develops
  • Work with development teams to improve the product through enhancement requests and bug fixes
  • Provide technical direction, training, and support to internal teams
  • Act as a support resource to resolve Image Management client requests
  • Infrequently travels to the client site for advanced troubleshooting if necessary
  • Performs tasks off-hours as needed to complete specific projects or tasks, such as outages, device migrations, and service version upgrades

Skills & Requirements:

  • Industry knowledge of medical devices used in supported specialties (Ophthalmology, Podiatry, OBGYN, etc) and Image Management systems/workflow is ideal
  • Proficient in various business applications and tools, including, but not limited to Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, VPN Clients, and Remote access software. Windows Server 2016 (or newer), SQL Server 2016 (or newer), and Salesforce
  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting abilities required
  • Networking, server infrastructure, and IS security knowledge strongly preferred
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create technical documents such as installation guides and procedure manuals
  • Maintains a positive and open attitude to change with an ability to adapt to new situations
  • Ability to quickly learn, analyze, understand, and convey complex information
  • Ability to speak effectively to groups of customers or employees
  • Project management and successful service delivery experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively work independently and coordinate team efforts
