The Position

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer with experience in multimedia design, i.e. video editing, motion graphics, etc. This is not an entry-level position. It requires 2+ years’ experience. Working in conjunction with our in-house creative team, you’ll be developing creative assets for all print and digital marketing initiatives for our family of brands.

Your graphic design assignments will be focused on developing high-quality, compelling, and persuasive creative for various marketing channels and media including websites, landing pages, email, social media, ads, blog posts, and more.

We’re looking for a high-energy problem solver who inspires internal and external audiences with their creative work. Someone who takes initiative, strives for the highest quality creative standards, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities, Focus, and Skills:

  • Support Creative Team in extending creative campaigns and content across all forms of media (print and digital) based on strategy and objectives 
  • Strong typography skills
  • Eye for photography, specifically product
  • Ensures all creative capture the brand personality and aesthetic, hits the brief, and achieves campaign goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external marketing team members to develop effective content strategies and campaigns.
  • Present design work and thinking to senior level creatives
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables on projects with competing timelines
  • Stay up to date on print, digital, and video editing best practices for each platform. 
  • Must stay current with culture and trends to put forth visual communications that are contemporary and industry leading
  • Experience with video editing and motion graphics is a plus

Qualifications:

This is not an entry level position. 2+ years of experience in graphic design required.

  • A robust portfolio showcasing your exceptional skills in graphic design, with a focus on branding, typography, and visual communication. 
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts clearly.
  • First-hand knowledge of a wide range of digital marketing related third party platforms, tools, and services.
  • Above average skills in presenting creative ideas to internal audiences.
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and an open and curious mind, and above all, respectful of the work and your peers.

  • Base Salary + Bonus

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, and phones. This position operates in person at our Del Mar headquarters, and 3+ days per week in person is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit at a computer workstation and work for prolonged periods; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. 

Position Type:

This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
