Shuttle Van Driver

As the successful candidate, you will –

Be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting Modern Aviation customers to/from their destinations or aircraft

You are excited about this opportunity because you will –

•  Drive customers to/from destination and/or aircraft
• ·Assist with loading and unloading passenger baggage into the shuttle van
•  Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers
• ·Maintain cleanliness of the shuttle van, including sweeping and removing trash
•  Keep water stocked on shuttles for passengers
•  Keep a detailed daily log of pick-ups and drop-offs, including names, times, and destinations
• ·Stay informed about local events to provide helpful information to passengers
• ·Assist Air Concierges as needed
•  Assume additional responsibilities, to support Modern Aviation’s evolving business objectives

Qualifications

You will bring with you –

•  A high school diploma or GED
•  A valid driver’s license, for at least 3 years, with no more than 6 points
•  The ability to pass extensive 10-year background check
• ·Prior commercial driving experience preferred

Note, the successful candidate must be 21 years of age or older due to insurance regions.

What can you expect the working conditions and physical demands for this role –

• Occasionally ascends/descends stairs of the passenger shuttle van
• Must regularly stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl to position self to maintain and/or service equipment
•  Possess the ability to communicate information and ideas so others understand
•  Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds
•  Constantly work in outdoor weather conditions

Reports to: Line Service Manager

Supervisory Responsibility: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

FLSA Status: This position is nonexempt.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions including extreme heat and cold; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration; chemicals including aviation fuels, oils, and lavatory fluid. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Travel: This position requires no travel.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform frequent walking, sitting, stooping, stretching, bending, reaching, and grasping actions. May be required to work nights and weekends. Regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
