We are currently looking for talented individuals to join us for below role
Senior Lead Engineer, Materials & CorrosionWe are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.
- Fully understand MODEC standards, client and regulatory requirements and ensure its discipline engineers work and deliverables comply with the requirements.
- Understand working process and procedures in all phases of FPSO life cycle, Bid/FEED, EPCI and O&M phases, and provide engineering solution to maximize life cycle value of FPSO and satisfy MODEC design policy and philosophy.
- Support Technical Authority on the review cycle and preparation of Corporate Standards related to Corrosion Assessment and Materials Selection, Sour Service, Welding, Surface Preparation and Coatings, Cathodic Protection, Piping and Valve Materials, etc.
- Provide overall supervision and support to Material and Corrosion Engineers during FEED, Detailed Engineering and Execution phases.
- The Senior Lead Engineer is responsible to ensure the work and deliverables are performed/ issued as per Company Standards and Guidelines, as per Project Technical Requirements, with required quality, within budget, and in line with Company Goal of maximizing value to Company and all stakeholders through the life of the facility.
- Ensures the work and deliverables of Material and Corrosion Engineers are performed/ issued as per Company Standards and Guidelines, as per Project Technical Requirements, with required quality, within budget, and in line with Company Goal of maximizing value to Company and all stakeholders through the life of the facility.
- Supervises the work of Material and Corrosion Engineers in multiple fast pace projects and potentially for multiple different clients.
- Handles multiple concurrent problems and challenges with tight schedule for resolution ensuring Company Goal of maximizing value to Company and all stakeholders through the life of the facility is met.
- Provide Training and Couching to Material and Corrosion Engineers
- Discuss lessons learned, root cause investigations.
- Participate in the improvement of Corrosion Monitoring
- Represent Materials Group in key stakeholder
- Lead Manufacturer Qualification Programs
- Lead Research and Development Programs
