We are currently looking for talented individuals to join us for below role
Senior Engineer, ElectricalWe are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.
Design basis: Understand the design basis, project requirements including HSSE, scope, schedule, quality requirements, client & class requirements and project execution philosophy. Incorporate the project requirements in the engineering design and deliverables. Execution: Manage project work including issue of deliverables within schedule and quality. Complete electrical engineering and FAT, SAT of assigned packages on time within project schedule. Support commissioning and operations. Deliverables Planning: Plan, manage the deliverables as per project requirements in coordination with Project Lead Electrical Engineer. Issue the deliverables as per the project timeline and quality requirements. Improvement and Innovative ideas: Identify improvement opportunities and innovative ideas. Innovate the new ideas and methodologies to improve project schedule/cost saving/quality. Control of Change Management: Ensure proper change management control, anticipate the technical issues, and take preventive action to mitigate the risk. control scope/schedule/cost and mitigate the cost escalation or schedule delays. Communication: Closely communicate with the team, inter-discipline communication, internal and external stake holders. To ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the project requirements and deliverables are approved.Other facts
About MODEC
Part of the MODEC Group, MODEC in Singapore provides engineering design and consultancy services to support oil and gas extraction and offshore exploration activities. The Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) of Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels and other floating production systems is handled by MODEC Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) and Offshore Frontier Solutions, the latter a joint venture company formed by MODEC Inc. and Toyo Engineering Corporation in 2022.
A new execution center has been opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as part of the company’s expansion plan to continue extending our capabilities and services to support our clients. OFS has also partnered with Toyo India to establish OFS India in Bengaluru, India. OFS India will execute Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) and detailed engineering, and provide procurement support for the topsides of FPSO projects, among its primary business activities.
