Senior Digital Analyst, Power AppsWe are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.
Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of this position are to collaborate with the stakeholders to identify specific business requirements, design, and develop innovative solutions by using the Microsoft Power Apps Platform. Furthermore, providing ongoing support, troubleshooting issues, and training for end users to ensure optimized utilization of these applications.
Core Responsibilities
Application Development and Maintenance:
Design, develop, support, and maintain applications developed by Power Apps associated with Power Automate tailored to specific business requirements.
Integration with Data Sources and Services:
Integrate Power Apps applications with data sources, workflow, and other Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint and Power Automate).
Database Design:
Design and create database models.
Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
Collaborate with the Product Owner and other team members to gather and document application requirements, specifications, and user stories. Maintain documentation of functional, solution specifications, and training material according to best practices.
User Support and Training:
Work closely with business users to understand the business’ requirements, and provide support, maintenance, and training.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Perform system integration testing and conduct user acceptance testing.
Industry Trends and Technology Updates:
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies within the Power Apps ecosystems.
Code Reviews and Development Standards:
Participate in code reviews and adhere to established coding and development standards (Desired).
Educational Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in developing solutions by using Power Apps and Power Platform.
Strong understanding of Power Apps components, data models, authentication, and integration capabilities.
Proficient in common data service (CDS) environments, data connectors, and related Microsoft technologies (Power Automate, SharePoint).
Working experience with relational databases.
With experience in Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Functions, App Services, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps, and Azure SQL Database.
Prior experience with agile development methodologies, preferably SCRUM, is a plus.
