Lead Engineer, Electrical

We are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.

Electrical Design basis Understand the design basis, project requirements including HSSE, scope, cost, schedule, quality requirements, client and class requirements and project execution philosophy. Incorporate the project requirements in the engineering design and deliverables. Team Resource Planning Plan, lead and manage team resources by identifying the work/package assignment for each team member. Clarify responsibilities and deliverables of everyone. Deliverables Planning Plan, lead and manage the deliverables as per project requirements. Issue the deliverables as per the project timeline and quality requirements. Execution Direct and manage project work including issue of deliverables within schedule and quality. Complete project on time within project requirements. Problem solving, Monitoring & Control Provide expertise on solving technical problems, monitor and control the project work by closely communicating with the team. Ensure the deliverables are meeting the project requirements and meeting project schedule. Close Project & Feedback Issue As-Built and provide lessons learnt to the Department. Close the project successfully and update the lesson learnt database as applicable in order to implement in future projects. Improvement and Innovative ideas Identify improvement opportunities and innovative ideas. Innovate the new ideas and methodologies to improve project schedule/cost saving/quality. Coordination with Stakeholders Closely coordinate with the team, inter-discipline communication, internal and external stake holders. To ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the project requirements and deliverables are approved. Qualifications - Bachelor Degree in Engineering and 10 years of work experience Technical Competencies - MS office, AVEVA, E3D, Navisworks. - Advanced Electrical System Study Software
