We are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.

• Leads and supervise a team of Designers to provide designs and drawings related to discipline of the assigned projects. The Team provides basic designs and drawings and engages Engineering Contractors to do drafting, designs and drawings based on the basic designs/drawings. Responsible for leading of the discipline design team for the project and assist Group Lead in corporate activities eg, standard preparation and drafting procedure update and etc.
• Prepares specifications as inputs in RFQs to secure the services of Engineering Contractors to perform drawings drafting, designs and drawings; monitoring output from Engineering Contractors ensure drafting output as per Company standard and specification.
• Performs PFD and P&ID CAD drafting with AutoCAD and/or AVEVA P&ID as per instruction from Process engineers. Supervise junior designers for PFD and P&ID CAD drafting with AutoCAD and/or AVEVA P&ID.
• Prepares complete set of intermediate engineering drawings which include multiple views, detailed and assembly drawings.
• Having evaluated equipment systems, creates product layouts and generates new designs.
• Prepares layout of equipment, components, structures and systems, using, wherever possible, past and standard designs and drawings, manufacturer’s catalogs and technical guides.
• Performs detail drafting review to ensure provision of comprehensive dimensional data for engineering or fabrication purposes. Reviews for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to relevant drafting designs, component weights and system standards.
• Prepares documentation, information and communication such as Change Request (RC’s), engineering specifications, design reports and required system documentation in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Ensures that the drawings have provided for the dimensional tolerance requirements as defined or designed by the manufacturers or Engineers to ensure proper assembly fit.
• Prepares drawings and presentation slides as part of technical specifications, presentations and computer animations for sales, project proposal and project presentation.
• Performs administrative duties and design-related tasks such as transferring drawings from computer to hardcopy as assigned.
• May prepare time estimates for review before assigned work is initiated. May compile and analyze data, compute quantities, determine materials needed.
• To ensure business activities and decisions conform to the laws and regulations and demonstrates high standard of ethical behaviour.
