EPCI Tender Coordinator

We are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.

Function to Proposal Team • Monitor and ensure the progress of proposal work to follow required standard and Group Governance principles. • Support Project Manager for overall tender management, including tender deliverables review, preparation of MB/BOD resolution, contract and commercial negotiations with client. • Develop the initial project setup (including project code, time-charge, Inter-billing, and necessary internal approval) with Project Manager and support developing team setup. • Develop the ITT (RFP or CFT)) review and deliverable register based on ITT (RFP or CFT) requirement and monitor the progress. • Develop and monitor the clarification process such as CQ/TQ process with project members. • Attend the contract and commercial negotiation to ensure the function for coordinating among stakeholders especially Subject Matter Experts like finance, tax, insurance and local contents. • Support the coordination for contract, commercial, technical and executional subjects among EPCI, O&M and Charter / Finance. • Review technical/commercial deliverable and ensure those meet the requirement from ITT (RFP or CFT). • Provide feedback of lesson learnt to improve the proposal workflow. Corporate function • Timely report progress to the Section Head of the EPCI Proposal Management Section, involving the Section Head working closely. • Periodically review corporate standards and procedures for proposal development and provide the inputs to update it if needed. • Ensure that all proposal activities align with company policies , industry best practices and tothe proposal management governance. Qualifications • Over 5 year’s experience working in energy industry with preference of FPSO offshore business. • With at least 3 years as a Tender phase work experience. • Previous experiences in EPCI execution is preferred. • Specific area of background of project management, engineering, construction or commercia/contract is required. Technical Competencies • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal. • Ability to work in a cross-functional team and thrive for the success of the projects. • Ability to submit the deliverables within deadlines.

About MODEC

Part of the MODEC Group, MODEC in Singapore provides engineering design and consultancy services to support oil and gas extraction and offshore exploration activities. The Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) of Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels and other floating production systems is handled by MODEC Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) and Offshore Frontier Solutions, the latter a joint venture company formed by MODEC Inc. and Toyo Engineering Corporation in 2022.

A new execution center has been opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as part of the company’s expansion plan to continue extending our capabilities and services to support our clients. OFS has also partnered with Toyo India to establish OFS India in Bengaluru, India. OFS India will execute Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) and detailed engineering, and provide procurement support for the topsides of FPSO projects, among its primary business activities.
