CMMS Database Build Tech AssistantWe are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.
Job Summary
CMMS Database Build Technical Assistant is responsible for participating in the timely completion of CMMS database builds, remediation projects, and data extractions. This role involves validating equipment tags from various sources, participating in project planning and reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of work on assigned projects. The specialist works under the direction of a lead or manager to support the effective management and utilization of the CMMS system.
Job Responsibility
CMMS Database Builds and Data Projects
Participate in the timely completion of CMMS database builds, remediation projects, or data extractions.
Equipment Tag Validation
Validation of equipment tags from various sources as directed by lead or manager.
Project Planning and Reporting
Participate in the project planning or reporting as directed by lead or manager.
Work Accuracy and Completeness
Ensure accuracy and completeness of work executed on assigned projects.
Qualifications
Diploma or technical education relating to electronics, electrical or mechanical courses.
At least 2-years working experience in shipping, the Oil and Gas industry or energy related sectors.
Technical Competencies
Understands and familiarity with P&ID and equipment register.
Ability to work in a small team with minimum supervision but achieving high outcome/result.
Exposure to the development of a maintenance management system.
Logical thinking with a great perception and common sense.
Knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of software.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Able to express ideas verbally.
