About this role

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building, setting up, testing, and preparing large high-tech machines before they are shipped to customers. This is a hands-on role where you follow step-by-step instructions and work with tools to ensure the equipment is safe, accurate, and high quality.

What you will do:

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical parts of machines
  • Align laser optics and perform machine testing
  • Calibrate equipment to make sure it works correctly
  • Prepare machines for delivery together with vendors
  • Check materials and ensure production schedules are met
  • Perform basic maintenance to keep equipment in good condition
  • Use simple testing tools to check and fix problems
  • Work on more than one type of machine after training

Who this job is for:

  • You have a Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • You enjoy hands-on technical work and building machines
  • You can work independently after training
  • You are careful, safety-minded, and take pride in quality work
  • You are willing to learn new skills and take on more responsibilities
  • You are comfortable working overtime and rotating/night shifts
  • Experience in a similar role is a plus, but training will be provided
