engineering and customer support solutions including maintenance, refurbishment,

technical publications, marketing and sales activities for the global regional aircraft

industry.

Purpose of the role

The Supervisor – CRJ Fleet Sustainment O􀆯ice is responsible for leading the strategic

and operational sustainment of the CRJ platforms throughout their lifecycle. This role

ensures continued product reliability, operational performance, and customer

satisfaction by driving cross-functional initiatives across engineering, technical

support, supply chain, customer support, and quality.

Develop skills of team members through coaching, employee training and

development, ongoing assessment, and feedback with the objective to build and

sustain an environment that supports cooperation, employee engagement and trust.

 

 

Responsibilities

Product Lifecycle Sustainment

  • Lead sustainment strategies for in-service products, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
  • Oversee corrective action plans demand requirements. Drive root cause analysis for continuous improvement.

Performance Monitoring & Analytics:

  • Define and track KPIs such as MTBF, reliability trends, and maintenance cost.
  • Use data analytics to identify product degradation, maintenance demand

and improvement opportunities (Platform enhancements).

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Support to resolve field issues.
  • Act as the central point of coordination for product sustainment programs.

Technical Oversight:

  • Guide engineering changes, retrofits, and upgrades based on field feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Supply Chain & Obsolescence Management:

  • Work with procurement and logistics to manage parts availability and obsolescence risks.
  • Support long-term provisioning strategies and inventory optimization.

Customer Engagement

  • Interface with customers to understand operational challenges and sustainment needs.
  • Communicate product updates, reliability improvements, and support plans.

Skills and requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business administration, related engineering field or other related relevant field (or equivalent).
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, project management, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in aviation, tech, or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
  • Passion for customer advocacy and service excellence.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on outcomes.
  • Ability to lead change and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • You are an energetic person with excellent communication and
  • interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to
  • accept responsibilities while acting independently.
  • You have flexible schedule to support urgent technical issues during
  • evenings, weekends.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) would be an asset.
  • Good functional knowledge of French is a must
