Machinist (Manufacturing Technician 3) - Sutton, MA
Machinist Level 3
Overview:
Factory Operations is accepting applications for the position of a senior level Machinist (Level 3). This position is for a well experienced machinist who can independently set up and operate a variety of machines (both manual and Computer Controlled Machines (CNC) to produce precision parts, handle complex setups, and perform quality checks.
Activities include setting up and running various manual and CNC machines, using various hand and powered tools, measuring devices, ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, perform conversational programming as well as complex programming. The candidate is expected to be productive post a short indoctrination period. This position provides a stepping-stone to a Manufacturing Team Lead or Manufacturing Engineer through the development of advanced skills and knowledge, leading to both higher compensation and greater responsibility. Primetals will support the development of the right candidate to these higher positions. Placement within the salary range is dependent on level of preexisting skills.
