Senior Security Product Manager

We’re seeking a Senior Security Product Manager to lead the strategy, definition, and delivery of key product capabilities that transform cloud detect and response (CDR) across cloud, SaaS, identity, and AI environments. You’ll own outcomes end-to-end — from customer discovery and product requirements through execution, launch, and iteration — working closely with R&D, security research, design, and go-to-market teams. 

Experience in  EDR, XDR, NDR, CSPM, AI Security and/or CNAPP is a strong advantage. 

What you’ll do 

• Own and drive product areas from vision → roadmap → execution → measurable impact 
• Conduct deep customer discovery with SecOps, Incident Response (IR), SOC teams, and security leaders to understand workflows, pain points, and success metrics 
• Translate complex SoC workflows and requirements into crisp PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria 
• Partner closely with engineering and research to define technical requirements, data needs, and tradeoffs (coverage vs. complexity, time-to-value, scalability, etc.) 
• Define and ship capabilities that improve security outcomes such as time-to-detect, time-to-investigate, time-to-contain, investigation quality, and remediation and isolation actions.  
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success on positioning, packaging, enablement, and launches 
• Track product performance via clear KPIs, adoption metrics, customer feedback, and competitive benchmarks 

Product Impact 

• Define and deliver product capabilities that increase the speed and accuracy of attack detection, investigation, and containment across cloud/SaaS/identity 
• Improve the end-to-end customer experience by simplifying workflows and reducing operational friction for SecOps teams 
• Expand Mitiga’s market leadership in breach readiness and response, differentiating through forensics-grade clarity and autonomous response 
• Drive high-quality execution through strong prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and customer-validated requirements 
• Shape product strategy through market intelligence across adjacent domains like EDR/XDR/NDR and CSPM/CNAPP 

Core Responsibilities 

• Strategy & Roadmap 
• Own product strategy and roadmap for your area, aligned to company goals and customer outcomes 
• Evaluate build/partner/buy decisions and identify ecosystem opportunities 
• Execution 
• Lead cross-functional execution with engineering, research, and design 
• Run backlog prioritization, sprint planning inputs, scope tradeoffs, and release readiness 
• Ensure shipped capabilities meet quality bars and deliver measurable impact 
• Customer & Market 
• Drive continuous customer discovery, feedback loops, and validation 
• Perform competitive analysis and articulate differentiation for product and GTM teams 
• Support key customers and strategic deals as a domain expert when needed 
• GTM & Adoption 
• Partner with GTM on messaging, launch plans, enablement, and sales narratives 
• Define onboarding and adoption journeys to increase usage and retention  

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience (Cybersecurit strongly preferred), with ownership of significant product areas end-to-end 
• Strong security domain understanding and experience working with SecOps / SOC / IR teams and their workflows 
• Technical fluency: ability to work deeply with engineering and security research teams (APIs, data pipelines, integrations, cloud services, identity, telemetry concepts) 
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous problem spaces into clear requirements, prioritize ruthlessly, and ship iteratively 
• Strong communication and stakeholder leadership across engineering, GTM, and executives 
• Data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking product KPIs and outcomes 

Advantages / Nice to Have 

• Experience with one or more of: EDR, XDR, NDR, CSPM, CNAPP 
• Experience with AI agentic technology (e.g. MCPs) 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and security telemetry in AWS/Azure/GCP 
• Experience with detection/response ecosystems (e.g., SIEM/SOAR concepts, identity providers, SaaS audit logs, cloud logging pipelines) 
• Familiarity with attacker techniques and frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) and investigation workflows 
• Experience building products that operate at scale across large enterprise environments
