Senior Project Manager

Overview: 

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play an integral role in the business by delivering technical projects that result in achieving critical product and strategic goals using Agile methodologies and Scaled Agile Planning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business efficiency. You will be involved in the definition, planning, management, reporting, and delivery of various projects that enable Mitel to expand its portfolio and its footprint in premise, hybrid, and cloud solutions. 

You will be part of an experienced, accomplished team who engage broadly across Mitel. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage Projects in accordance with Mitel’s goals and processes 

• Launch new Projects to support the organizational strategic direction using Agile Methodologies 

• Facilitate project teams and stakeholder’s communication to promote teamwork and collaboration 

• Ensure project success criteria meets specification/requirements and establish a project schedule and plan 

• Direct teams and individuals to project schedules, identify risks and risk mitigation to deliver on-time and within resource capacity 

• Track technical issues and find solutions for project problems as they arise to deliver a superior customer experience 

• Utilize organization skills to manage multiple facets of a project and track progress for several projects concurrently 

• Recognize and coordinate appropriate escalations regarding project issues and decisions 

• Implement, manage, and track changes to ensure project goals are achieved 

• Produce accurate and timely reporting of Project status throughout its life cycle 

• Support identification of organizational & business improvement opportunities 

• Develop knowledge of Mitel products, systems, software, hardware, and applications 

Requirements: 

• Degree in Project Management (PM) or related technical field or 3+ years of equivalent technical Project management experience required 

• Project management experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies such as Lean, Scrum, Kanban, etc. 

• Familiarity and experience working with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) 

• Competency in MS Office, JIRA, and Confluence or similar software 

• Experience in infrastructure, software, migration, network and/or datacenter projects or in prem or cloud-based projects in Telcom/VoIP 

• Proven stakeholder management skills working with operational, product development teams, and non-technical teams 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills and organizational abilities 

• Self-motivated and driven 

• Excellent interpersonal skills 

Additional Skills: 

• Project management certification(s) (PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, MBA Project Mgmt, and/or SAFe Agile)
