The Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished Quality Leader to provide strategic direction and leadership across all facilities of our Quality and Environmental Management Systems. This role is responsible for protecting the brand, strengthening customer confidence, and driving consistent, world-class quality performance across all facilities. This position is the top Quality role in the company and a member of the Leadership Team. The role is based out of Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and lead the corporate quality strategy to achieve best-in-class customer satisfaction.
- Leading the Corporate Quality team and overseeing 7 manufacturing plants throughout Canada, USA and Mexico.
- Own customer performance, including scorecards, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives and support flawless new product launches.
- Drive consistency and best practices across all manufacturing locations.
- Oversee internal and external quality and environmental audits.
- Partner with executive leadership on quality risk, system effectiveness, and operational excellence.
- Champion change management, certifications, and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
Our Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years of automotive quality or engineering leadership experience.
- Post-Secondary education in engineering
- Deep expertise in IATF 16949, ISO 14001, APQP, and core quality tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D, control plans).
- Strong understanding of automotive customer expectations and performance metrics.
- Experience in injection molding and paint manufacturing processes preferred.
- Proven ability to influence, lead, and drive results across multiple sites.
- Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to travel domestic and international (i.e., has valid passport and drivers’ license)
