The Role
Our Mitchell Plastics Kitchener facility is looking for Material Handlers. The Material Handler is a key player in keeping our production floor running and ensuring we are able to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced, “just-in-time” environment. Cooperation with Machine Operators, Cell Leaders, Supervisors and Set-Up Technicians is essential for this position. We are currently hiring for the Night (11:00 pm - 7:00 am) shift. However, candidates must be flexible to work any/all shifts, and overtime as required.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $24.08 -$26.54 per hour + night shift premium of $0.75/hour shift

Duties and Responsibilities
- Forklift operation
- Keeping all production equipment supplied with materials
- Keeping Machine Operators supplied with components and packaging
- Maintaining cleanliness of the plant floor
- Emptying and cleaning grinders
- Transporting finished product to the appropriate staging area
- Anticipating and preparing for all actions that prevent the occurrence of product, process and quality system non-conformance
Qualifications and Skills
- Forklift experience is required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attendance
- Flexibility to work any shift
