Job Description
Responsible for ensuring the safety, supervision, and enjoyment of guests using the indoor swimming pool and recreation areas. The role includes monitoring activities, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- Dubai-accredited Lifeguard Certificate
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Strong swimming and rescue skills
- Ability to multitask between pool and recreation supervision
- Good communication and customer service skills
- With at least 3 years experience as life guard
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent observation skills and ability to remain alert at all times
- Knowledge of water safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to use and maintain lifesaving equipment
- Basic understanding of pool maintenance and water chemistry
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Additional Information
Supervise and monitor swimmers in the indoor pool at all times
Enforce pool and recreation area rules to ensure guest safety
Respond promptly to emergencies, rescues, and incidents
Provide first aid, CPR, and AED assistance when required
Oversee recreation areas to ensure safe use
Assist guests with recreation equipment and activity guidelines
Conduct routine safety checks of pool, recreation areas, and equipment
Maintain cleanliness and order in pool and recreation areas
Record and report incidents, accidents, and maintenance issues
Provide courteous and professional guest service
