Your Role: As an Assembly Operator you will assemble parts in an assigned area until final product is complete.
Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts from 5:45 AM - 6:15 PM CST
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and follow the SOP at each designated station within an Assembly cell.
Quality-check each piece produces against set aesthetic standards.
Keep designated station full of needed parts for job assigned.
Learn job duties at multiple stations within assigned cell.
Flexibility to rotate from one assigned cell or manufacturing facilities to another based on production needs.
Keep work area clean with expected housekeeping.
Work unsupervised and handle multiple tasks.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
Moderate proficiency in English
Standing for long periods of time
Able to read SOP in English
PREFERRED:
High School Diploma or GED
Previous manufacturing experience
High level of manual dexterity
Working conditions:
Position is located at our Cookeville, TN or Algood, TN manufacturing facility. This facility is heated and cooled. Employee will be working with and near moving mechanical parts.
Physical requirements:
Candidate must be able to identify and distinguish colors, stand for long periods of time, lift/carry up to 35 lbs., reach hands and arms in any directions and kneel/stoop repeatedly Frequent use of drill drivers is required in Assembly process. A drug screen is required prior to employment. A physical may also be required as employment terms.
