GENERAL PURPOSE
This role is responsible to assemble products and/or related parts in a manufacturing setting at a standard rate of work based on customer demand and lean manufacturing principles to satisfy the customer and to provide high quality products delivered in a timely manner.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.  Cross-training in other departments to learn additional functions is required.
Performs multiple processes using a variety of equipment in a manufacturing setting, dependent upon the department processes. Produces a high-quality product delivered in a timely manner to satisfy customers. Solves problems with the assistance of other team members and seeks continuous improvement.
Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Education/Experience
One of the following is required: (1) High school diploma or its equivalent (GED for example), (2) work experience which demonstrates performance competency

Skills and Abilities
Competent in basic math skills such as counting, adding, and subtracting.
Ability to work cooperatively within the team as well as with members of other teams to meet goals.
Demonstrated willingness to adapt to a continually changing environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Ability to regularly lift and move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and move up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift and move up to 40 lbs.

Required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms for the duration of the shift.
