Milacron is looking for a Senior Microsoft Developer to join our team in Batavia, OH. In this position, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade web applications and cloud solutions. This role requires deep expertise in .NET web development, Azure Integration Services, and Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate will also provide technical leadership in maintaining and modernizing legacy systems while mentoring junior team members and promoting engineering best practices.

Work You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework.
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Functions).
• Administer and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and release management.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, maintainability, and performance standards.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements for legacy software applications, including troubleshooting, refactoring, and gradual modernization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver high-quality software.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices are followed.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in .NET web development with strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Functions, API Management).
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps for source control, build/release pipelines, and environment management.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and event-driven design.
• Experience supporting and modernizing legacy .NET Framework applications.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with IaC tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Microsoft certifications preferred (e.g., Web Technologies/Azure Developer/Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) a plus
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) a plus
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments a plus
